Engineering Studies

This notebook is a personal engineering reference built over 20+ years of work across semiconductor design, storage systems, and embedded engineering. It covers the topics I've found myself returning to repeatedly — whether preparing for technical interviews, onboarding into a new domain, or just needing a solid reference while deep in a design.

It's written for working engineers who want depth without fluff. Each section assumes you know the basics and goes straight to the architecture, the tradeoffs, and the details that matter in practice.

Topics range from ASIC design and RTL through SSD architecture, memory systems, AI hardware, security, and general electronics. Use the sidebar to navigate by topic.

I built this notebook using topics I know well and leveraged claude.ai to help get all the text in place and not miss any important topics.
